Wednesdays in Mississippi is Celebrating Mississippi’s 92% and the 60th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, August 6, 2025 and you are invited to join us for a celebratory brunch. Our theme is Preserving Our Legacy, Fighting for Our Future.  Wednesdays in Mississippi is bringing together some of our State’s most outstanding women led organizations to organize and mobilize women across Mississippi to make their voices heard at the ballot box for the 2027 Mississippi State and Local Elections. If there is one thing that Mississippi’s 2025 legislative session has taught us, it is time for a change in the State’s House as well as many county and municipal offices.  Our founding partners, Southern Black Women’s Initiative for Economic Justice, _______, We Must Vote MS, and the Women in the NAACP are ready to work with you and your organization to create a strategic plan to educate voters, register voters and get voters to the polls in 2027.
