At Voices of the Fire Council, we empower Indigenous women and Elders, especially those over 50, to celebrate, preserve, and pass forward their heritage. These women are culture bearers. They are language keepers, storytellers, teachers, and matriarchs. Their wisdom has carried communities through generations of change, challenge, and resilience. Yet too often, their voices are overlooked and their contributions undervalued. We are here to change that.Through community gatherings, cultural education, and intentional intergenerational connection, we create spaces where ancestral knowledge is honored, shared, and kept alive.We foster pride where there has been silence. Belonging where there has been isolation. Resilience where there have been barriers.
