Our community has come together for karaoke, bowling, game nights, cooking, music, outings, arts and crafts, and many other activities.But there&#39;s one thing we&#39;re missing:This mission is personal to me. As the mother of an autistic adult son, I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be to find meaningful social opportunities, friendships, and a true sense of belonging as an adult. After nearly losing my son to serious health issues and watching him face his own social struggles, I knew I wanted to do something that could make a difference&mdash;not only for him, but for other adults and families facing the same challenges.A permanent place to call home.Right now, we travel from location to location for our events. Our dream is to open a Bridge The Spectrum community space where adults can come together throughout the week to socialize, make friends, play games, create, sing karaoke, participate in activities, or simply have somewhere they feel comfortable spending time.🏠 Our Goal: $25,000Your donations will help us with the startup costs of opening our first physical location, including rent and security deposit, furnishings, activity equipment, sensory-friendly areas, insurance, utilities, supplies, and other expenses needed to open our doors.Most importantly, community support will help us keep our programs affordable so cost doesn&#39;t become a barrier for the adults we serve.This is about more than opening a building.It&#39;s about friendships.
