The 2026 Teach-in-China Program, led by Thousand Miles Initiative in partnership with&nbsp;Sister Cities of Durham, is officially underway. Building on the success of last year&rsquo;s unforgettable exchange, a team of 14 passionate teens from different high schools in RTP area, will travel to China to teach English, share American culture, and experience life across the globe. It&rsquo;s more than just a trip. It&rsquo;s a journey of leadership, discovery and friendship. Fundraising is often the first real test of a leader. It supports two main goals. First, it allows us to reduce the cost of the program for every family, such as training sessions, classroom materials and group spending etc. Second, it builds scholarship funds so future students with financial need can apply. This makes the program more accessible, so that financial reasons are not a barrier for interested students from participating.
