Washington high school needs community support. It's nothing like entering into your senior year and looking forward to senior activities upon graduation. Due to covid a lot of things were not in order and the class of 2023 didn't get a chance to raise funds to offset these activities. As we all know Booker T. Washington has limited resources to do it all on their own. This past week Reconnecting Families and Communities met with a few other retired teachers, principals, and senior staff to discuss their needs. Collectively we are willing to help raise these funds so that our children "BTW Class of 2023" can at least have a proper Prom. We will like to come together with others to be able to contribute to the cost of this event which is estimated to be around $7,000 this will cover the Double Tree Hotel, decorations, food and possibly they can get a senior shirt and mug. We are asking our friend's, parents and community members to help Booker T.
