At Country Acres Rescue, saving one dog is incredible — but what if every dog we save could create an impact beyond our rescue? That’s the idea behind Acres of Impact: Fix ’Em Forward. For every dog we intake into our rescue, our goal is to raise $200 to help a separate community pet receive essential preventative care. That $200 will help provide:

Spay or neuter

Core vaccinations

Microchip

The community pet is completely separate from the dog entering our rescue. This program is about using every intake as an opportunity to make an even bigger impact. By helping local pet owners access affordable preventative care, we can address pet overpopulation at its source, keep more animals healthy and safely with their families, and hopefully reduce the number of dogs entering already-overcrowded shelters in the future. One dog comes into our care. One community pet gets fixed. Two lives impacted. Our goal is simple: $200 to help a community pet for every dog we intake. Help us create Acres of Impact — one dog, one community pet, and one fix at a time.
