These guys are more commonly known as bearcats because they have the body of a bear and the face of a cat! They are one of the most fascinating mammals, due to the fact that the females are able to delay implantation of their eggs when mating (embryonic diapause). What this means is that the female will mate when a male is available to her, but can delay the pregnancy itself until she is in an environment where she is most comfortable and safe give birth and raise her young. Binturongs are also one of the only prehensile tail mammals that eat meat! These two get a huge serving of fresh fruit daily and eat chicken legs as their choice of protein!
