Did you know?  • MATA supports over 80 artists annually • All artist fees were doubled in 2021 to move us toward a more fair and equitable pay scale • We created a new annual Artist-In-Residence position in 2021 to ensure MATA’s programming is as diverse and unique as possible • Ticket sales account for only 4% of our annual budget • The majority of our annual events are free and open to the public or “pay what you can”  • Artist fees total over $90,000 annually • MATA functions with one part-time Executive Director, one part-time Operations Associate, and a Board of Directors Where are we headed? With your growing support, MATA can increase our programming and provide even more opportunities to sound artists across the globe.
