Camille Rennie (Moten) formed the Company of Collaborative Artists (CoCA) in April 2021 as a personal mission to hold space for dance artists to continue to express and explore their artistry and training in supportive creative environments amidst a global pandemic. She felt called to address a collective need to process the restless energies, questions, ideas, and movement stories of living in these contemporary times through the dancing body and with community.

Over the past four years, CoCA has grown to become a grassroots nonprofit dance organization with a mission to spread love and light internationally through dance arts and creative community. We strive to energize, express, and elevate our collective human condition through dance by illuminating the conscious body. We are especially driven by the belief that movement is medicine, and we work to create spaces for both us and audiences to experience that truth inside of our community. We are artists of the time, and we reflect the current and changing 2020s with a vibrant tenacity and radical compassion for all as we clear a path to a more awakened & embodied life.

As a 509(a)(2) public arts charity, we welcome the opportunity to grow and scale our artistic works, programming, and community impact, as well as the the great potential to learn, collaborate, and share with like-minded individuals and organizations that value the experience of embodied connection.  We seek partnerships with innovators that can empower our mission in the global community and advance our knowledge and resources in diverse areas to help us reach our goals. We are in need of individual and corporate donors like you to help us continue our work sustainably and successfully. And we are confident that your support will help lay the groundwork for future connection and partnership in reciprocity, through the sharing of our art, goods, and services with your community. We are small, but we have a mighty purpose.

We are grateful for your time and consideration of our request, and we thank you in advance for your commitment and giving. Please know that your donation is 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any gift, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and directly impacts our artists, art-making, and the communities of people that we serve.

With gratitude,

Camille Rennie
