Become One of the First 50 Friends of MIWISCONSIN A news story can alert a family. An interview can give a voice to someone who has never been heard. Information published at the right time can connect someone with help, protect their rights, or influence an important decision. Since 2020, MIWISCONSIN has worked to ensure that Wisconsin’s Latino and Hispanic communities have access to reliable, useful information in Spanish. We cover issues that directly affect our families, including immigration, education, health, civil rights, public safety, the economy, and community resources. But community journalism cannot survive on good intentions alone. It needs people who believe in its importance. That is why we are looking for the first 50 Friends of MIWISCONSIN—people committed to helping us sustain a trusted source of information created for our community. With a monthly donation of $5, $10, $20, $50, or any amount you can contribute, you help us:

Investigate and publish stories that matter to our community.

Cover alerts, emergencies, and important events in cities across Wisconsin.

Produce interviews, videos, live broadcasts, and content in Spanish.

Connect families with services, opportunities, and resources.

Keep our content accessible to everyone, especially those facing language barriers.

Prevent misinformation and unverified reports from harming our community.

It does not matter whether your contribution is large or small. What matters is its consistency. When many people give a little, together they can build something that no one should have to sustain alone. Being a Friend of MIWISCONSIN means:

Defending access to reliable information in Spanish.

Supporting journalism that remains close to the community.

Joining a group that believes every voice deserves to be heard.

Receiving updates about the impact of your donations.

Being recognized, if you choose, as one of our Founding Friends.

Our first goal is not measured only in dollars. It is measured in people. We want to bring together 50 Founding Friends who will help us build a strong, independent, and sustainable foundation for the future of MIWISCONSIN. You can make a monthly donation or a one-time contribution. Every donation matters, and every new Friend brings us closer to our goal. Today, we are not simply asking you for a donation. We are inviting you to become part of MIWISCONSIN—to become our Friend. Become a Friend, invite someone else to join, and help us keep information in Spanish alive, accessible, and at the service of our community. Because an informed community has more tools to protect itself, grow, and make its voice heard.
