Dear Friend of Ballet Theatre of Ohio,&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The curtain is rising on Ballet Theatre of Ohio&rsquo;s (BTO) 2026&ndash;2027 performing season, marking the 34th year for BTO to bring its magic to the majestic, historic Akron Civic Theatre stage. BTO is well known to Northeastern Ohio audiences for spectacular, professional quality, full-length classical story ballet productions, such as The Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty &amp; the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, and Cinderella. Our dynamic community / educational outreach program, Take Me Out to the Ballet, has enabled us to introduce the wonder of classical ballet to over 50,000 local elementary school children with special school presentations of The Nutcracker and, most recently, The Wizard of Oz.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; You and I are challenged to contribute to many worthy organizations throughout the year; but never has your support of Ballet Theatre of Ohio been more important than now. Talent, hard work and dedication alone cannot bring BTO&#39;s magic to the stage. Financial backing is as important to BTO performances as the dancers. Thanks to the generous support of friends, such as you, who love the arts and realize its importance to the community, thousands of theatergoers of all ages have been enchanted by BTO productions. We appreciate your past patronage and support and invite you to continue your partnership with Ballet Theatre of Ohio to help ensure that the show will go on!&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Please take a few moments to demonstrate your support by sending a tax-deductible contribution to Ballet Theatre of Ohio&#39;s Annual Campaign. Donations of $50 or more, received before October 15, 2026, will benefit from advance ticket sales and the opportunity to purchase priority-seating tickets for The Nutcracker (November 28 - December 6, 2026) and for Beauty &amp; the Beast (May 1 - 2, 2027).
