We do this by co-developing affordable housing options and delivering innovative programming. Each year, the Sunflower Hill Garden produces thousands of pounds of fresh, organic produce planted and harvested by our program participants. We proudly donate over 90% of our produce to local nonprofits! Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated participants and volunteers, we can support amazing organizations like Culinary Angels, Tri-Valley Haven, Open Heart Kitchen, Shepherd's Gate, and One Nation Dream Makers, helping vulnerable populations right here in the Tri-Valley with access to fresh, healthy, nutritious food. Your donation is more than just a contribution—it is a meaningful investment in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Because of your kindness, we can continue building affordable housing communities and offering life skills and enrichment programs across the Bay Area and beyond. Our Irby Ranch community in Pleasanton offers a variety of activities for both residents and nonresidents, including cooking classes, fitness sessions, games, arts and crafts, social gatherings, pet therapy, and more. The Sunflower Hill Garden at Hagemann Ranch in Livermore serves as an instructional outdoor space for education, vocational, and life skills training. It provides adults with (I/DD) opportunities to thrive by supporting transition classes, local day programs, and individuals, helping them build confidence and independence and form meaningful friendships. We currently have communities in the pre-development stage in Dublin and Lafayette. In 2024, we proudly donated 4,715 pounds of fresh organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs to local nonprofits, including Shepherd’s Gate, Culinary Angels, Tri-Valley Haven, Open Heart Kitchen, and One Nation Dream Makers. These organizations are working on the front lines to address food insecurity in the Tri-Valley region.  In addition, our garden blooms with compassion as we also gift weekly bouquets to patients at Hope Hospice and Heritage Estates in Livermore—over 731 bouquets last year, all made possible by your support.
