In memory of Arthur Irving Bloomfield z&quot;tl, we hope to refurbish the CJL basement into a full home theater. In his time as part of our community and living in the CJL, Arthur was a film-aficionado, enjoying several films with friends in our basement, creating film reviews, and never failing to share his opinion on the latest movie. We think it befitting to honor his memory by creating a space in which students can appreciate cinema as much (or at least nearly as much) as he did.&nbsp; To make this space a reality, we will include:&nbsp;- ⁠a surround-sound system for optimal audial experience- a large, high-definition screen for optimal visual experience- ⁠a collection of Arthur&#39;s favorite films for students to enjoy as he did- ⁠posters of his favorite films- a collection of books about film- a plaque denoting the dedication of the theater in Arthur&#39;s memory- ⁠much more&nbsp; Please let us know if you have any ideas you think we should add!
