Axiom Independent is a brand new indoor percussion ensemble in San Diego, California within the Independent A division. Due to declining funding in local school programs and missing opportunities within musical arts &nbsp;we aim to fill in the gap by promoting music education, developing leadership and life skills in youth and young adults, and increasing public appreciation for the marching arts through community engagement, workshops, and public performances. The group is instructed by local percussion staff that have served San Diego over the past 10 years along with performing together, teaching one another, and assisting in instructing the next generation of talented performers.
