As we seek to live in community, maintain a low-standard of living, and invest our lives in relationships with our East Phillips neighbors, we pray for Christ's love to work through our community. Our Neighborhood Fund is for direct support and mutual aid to our neighbors. This Community Fund is to invest more 'internally', and less directly 'externally'. At minimum, each resident puts $10/mo in the Neighborhood Fund ("love your neighbor") and $10/mo in the Community Fund ("as you love yourself"). This is critical to cultivating our community's spiritual health and flourishing of our common spaces as we live, practice hospitality, and witness to the way of Jesus in our home.
