At Be Someone’s Sticky Note, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can support our youth one note at a time. In 1997, a 9th grade teacher left a handwritten sticky note on a student's short story. It said she was good at writing and encouraged her to keep going. That student carried the note through five military moves and four overseas deployments. Twenty-nine years later, the story became a published children's book, and the note became the reason Be Someone's Sticky Note Foundation exists. We put together Confidence Kits and give them to children ages 4 to 10 who couldn't otherwise afford them, through schools, libraries, and hospital programs across Southern Nevada. Each kit includes a copy of the book that started it all, six affirmation sticky notes, a plush companion holding its own note, and access to a digital activity app. Kids who see themselves in this story believe more in themselves. $66 funds one Confidence Kit for a child who needs it. Your gift doesn't just buy a book. It puts one small note into a kid's hands at the exact moment they need to hear it, the way one note changed everything for us.
