Be the hero in someone’s LOV story this holiday season. Your gift to Leashes of Valor helps provide a life-changing service dog at no cost to a wounded or disabled post-9/11 veteran.  Whenever possible, the dogs in our program come from shelters or rescue groups, or are owner-surrenders. Dogs spend up to two years training with us before they are paired with veterans to help with symptoms of PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and other unseen wounds of their military service.  They need food, training, veterinary care, and equipment to prepare for the work ahead. You can help them take those next steps. From a bag of dog food and essential training supplies to preventive veterinary care, your contribution helps prepare a dog for life with their future veteran partner. Every gift has a part in that journey. Give today to help write the next LOV story—and change two lives. One leash saves two lives.
