Sometimes a family&#39;s homeschool plans don&#39;t change, but their circumstances do. I remember one SCAIHS family whose father unexpectedly lost his job. They hadn&#39;t planned to leave SCAIHS. They hadn&#39;t decided homeschooling was no longer right for their family. They simply found themselves in a season when expenses that had once been manageable suddenly weren&#39;t. Because of donations to the SCAIHS Scholarship Fund, we were able to help cover their membership fees. Their circumstances had changed. Their homeschool didn&#39;t have to. That&#39;s why the SCAIHS Scholarship Fund exists. A job loss. An unexpected expense. A difficult financial season. We never know what circumstances might lead a family to need help, but when that moment comes, we want to be able to say, &ldquo;Let&#39;s see how we can help.&rdquo; Our goal is to raise $3,000 in 2026 to help SCAIHS families experiencing financial hardship continue their homeschool journey with the guidance, encouragement, and support of SCAIHS.
