Imagine walking into the Children’s Studio at The Carousel Museum and seeing a street carousel through an opening in the brick wall, its colorful horses lit by daylight beneath a glass dome.Your gift will help us build a round glass enclosure just outside the Children’s Studio in Bristol, Connecticut. The dome will shelter the child-sized carousel and let children and families view it from inside the museum. The Carousel Museum preserves and celebrates the art, craftsmanship, and history of carousels through exhibitions, restoration, and education. This project brings that mission into the Children’s Studio, where young visitors can discover the artistry of carousel makers, and families can share their own carousel memories. Become a Carousel Founder Give $1,000 or more, and you can choose to have an engraved plaque on our Carousel Founders Wall. The plaque can bear your name, your family or business name, or the name of someone you’d like to honor or remember. You’re also welcome to give privately. Every gift brings the street carousel closer to its new home. Thank you for helping us share the joy of carousels with the next generation.
