The Bethany Charlwood Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Bethany Charlwood (HHS class of 1993) by recognizing an HHS graduate who reflects her enduring qualities of nurturing, kindness, and empathy. She cheered quietly but relentlessly for her loved ones, making them feel seen and appreciated. Her genuine curiosity about other people and about the world brought light and love to those who knew her. The scholarship is to be given to a graduating Hebron High School senior who has exemplified her same qualities of nurturing, kindness, and empathy toward students and staff. The recipient must be enrolled and accepted at a post-secondary institution: a college, university, junior college, or trade school. GPA, class rank, extracurricular activities, and SAT scores should have no bearing on the selection process for this scholarship. The recipient is to be selected by Hebron Middle/ Senior High School staff members as someone they have witnessed shining light and love to others, during his or her time at Hebron High School.
