My birthday wish is to be able to pay our contributors more. No lie. Help me and Metroland celebrate another trip around the sun by fueling local arts. Your gift to our Birthday Fund Drive keeps Metroland Now’s coverage free and rooted in the Capital Region’s creative scene! Every dollar helps us preview shows, review performances, spotlight nonprofits, interview local artists, and keep our community events calendar strong. Support the writers, photographers, and creatives who document the music, art, theater, comedy, film, and more that make this place feel alive! Between now (my birthday) and 10/25 (Metroland’s print birthday) we’re gonna try and raise 20K! If we hit our goal we’re gonna shave Tom’s head at our anniversary party on 10/25 at Ophelia’s at 3pm! He doesn’t know it yet but he said I could have anything I want for my birthday. The party is free to attend but I’m only paying for staff to drink (sorry) so come out and celebrate with us!
