Over forty doors, hand-painted by more than sixty Seattle artists and musicians, are finished and sitting in storage. Four are out in the city. We are going for fifty doors placed across Seattle. Each one carries a small tag - an RFID sticker paired with a printed QR code. Tap it with your phone, scan it, or type the code by hand, and a free story opens in your browser along with a profile of the artist who painted that door, linking straight to their own work. No app to install. No account. No ticket. You find a door on a sidewalk, and a minute later you are following the artist who made it. We keep this free on purpose. Public art that costs money to see is not public art. WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES Every dollar goes to placement. Mounting brackets and masonry anchors. Exterior sealant so a painted door survives a Seattle winter. Truck rental to move doors from storage to sites across the city.
