Audre&rsquo;s Den is a nonprofit mobile bookstore and community wellness organization bridging literacy and healing across South Carolina, centering Black women&rsquo;s and queer voices. Founded in early 2026 and based in Columbia and Spartanburg, Audre&rsquo;s Den operates both a mobile bookstore and a structured programming organization.&nbsp; The bookstore curates and sells books that center Black women and queer voices, generates earned revenue through pop-up events and online affiliate channels, and builds relationships with authors &mdash; particularly South Carolina authors whose voices have been historically overlooked.&nbsp; The organization delivers literacy and wellness programming, develops partnerships with local schools and universities and mental health providers, and works to remove every barrier between people and the books that can heal them.
