It&#39;s dumb weed&#39;s still federally illegal, even though folks like our fellow Washingtonians can waltz into their friendly neighborhood cannabis store in most parts of the state.&nbsp; At Seattle Events A Non Profit Corporation, the business behind Seattle Hempfest, we stand by the power of community and collaboration towards a good cause.Every donation furthers our mission to get back in the park in 2027* and continue our work bringing people home that are imprisoned for unjust cannabis laws, expanding &amp; sharing research on ways to use such a multipurpose plant, and support the push to use hemp products to create a greener, cleaner world! *Why 2027 you ask?Good things take time, and if we want a quality event it takes (at least) eight months to get enough volunteers registered, fill our vendor spaces, and put together our amazing line up of speakers and musicians.
