Each year, United Way of the Lakeshore’s Adopt-A-Family Program helps make the holidays brighter for families right here in Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana Counties. Your gift provides essential support—covering everything from warm winter clothing to household needs and holiday cheer for families who are working hard to make ends meet. 💛 Why Zeffy? We use Zeffy because they allow nonprofits like ours to process donations 100% free of charge—so more of your gift goes directly to families. Zeffy covers their costs through optional contributions from donors. A quick note about the transaction fee: You’ll see a suggested contribution to Zeffy (17%) automatically added to your donation. This is completely optional.

You can adjust this amount down to any percentage you’d like—even 0%.

Simply click the dropdown next to the Zeffy contribution and select your preferred amount.

We understand 17% is a high default—we don’t control that setting—but we’re grateful to Zeffy for offering a no-fee platform that helps keep your donation focused where it matters most: supporting local families. ✨ Thank you for helping make the season brighter.
