<a fr-original-style="" href="https://vintageflyingmuseum.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; -webkit-user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Vintage Flying Museum&nbsp;</a>is the recipient of&nbsp;donated a 1942 Vultee BT-13B Valiant WWII trainer aircraft! &nbsp;The airplane is not currently airworthy and it&#39;s located in Gulfport, MS. &nbsp;The aircraft was a flying aircraft a few years ago, when it developed a major fuel leak. &nbsp;The owner and his brother who was his partner on the airplane, sent the fuel tank out for rebuild and reseal. &nbsp;Removing the fuel tank required removing the outer wing panels and separating the fuselage (body) from the wing. &nbsp;When they got it back and were re-assembling the aircraft when his brother passed away. &nbsp;He was forced to stop the project and donate it. &nbsp;We are extremely fortunate to be chosen to receive this donation! &nbsp;We need YOUR help!&nbsp; It will take approximately $25,000.00 to disassemble and truck the aircraft back to the museum in Fort Worth. &nbsp;Once it arrives at the museum, then the work starts! &nbsp;We estimate that it will take another $50,000.00 to re-assemble the aircraft, &nbsp;perform the required annual inspection, obtain insurance, and bring everything up-to-speed for safe and reliable operation. &nbsp;Once flying, we will use the airplane to take to air shows, fly-ins and other events to educate the public on history of pilot training during WWII. &nbsp;We will also offer flight experiences in it to allow the public to experience what it was like to be a pilot in WWII and to help defer the cost of operating the airplane.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our middle name is literally &quot;Flying&quot;, that is what we do, we keep history flying! &nbsp;We need your help! &nbsp;Please donate today! &nbsp;All donations are tax-exempt.
