With a population of 11.7 million people, over half suffer from acute hunger, and nearly 2 million are on the verge of starvation &mdash; including more than 82,000 children. Widespread gang control, environmental challenges, and limited agricultural capacity have left many families without reliable access to food, clean water, education, or economic opportunity. Through strategic partnerships aligned with Rotary&rsquo;s Areas of Focus, the Haiti Engagement Project supports sustainable, life-changing programs. These initiatives provide clean water systems, youth entrepreneurship opportunities, life-saving nutrition programs, foster care support, environmental restoration, anti-trafficking efforts, and job-skill training. Together, these projects are not about temporary aid &mdash; they are about empowering communities, restoring dignity, and creating long-term self-sufficiency for the people of Haiti.
