Join us in making urgent repairs to keep our building safe. We have some urgent projects underway, and we have to pay the workers to make complete these as soon as possible. Your donation will go to the Building & Grounds Fund which is restricted to these types of expenses. We will fund each project as the funds are raised, and any excess will be used for other building and grounds needs. Here are our most pressing needs: 1. Roof repair. Many will have noticed the buckets appearing on the first landing up from the church level whenever we have rain. The roof and wall/siding of St. Joseph's deck needs repair to stop the leaks. We discovered that there are more problematic places we currently estimate $8k for this. 2. Driveway lights. We need to fix the driveway lights ASAP! We have gotten started, and you can see our lovely posts with reflectors. Here in West Marin our neighbors are particularly attuned to 'Dark Sky' goals and we are working with them to be sure we get it right. This project is estimated to be about $12K. 3. Gutter Repair. Some of our gutters don't line up and drain in places they shouldn't. We anticipate at least $5k. 4. French Drain Repair Completion. Estimate an additional $5K 5. Sticky Windows & Latch repairs. Estimate about $8k. 6. Amphitheater Handicapped Ramp. Estimate an additional $5k to completion.. Any amount, small or large moves us toward the goal of completing these projects. If you are called to give to a specific project, write the name of it using the "in Honor of" option and it will be earmarked in the Building & Grounds Fund. Thank you VERY much for considering a donation to keep our beautiful old building well maintained.
