Founded by Susan Lipsey, in honor of her mother who loved to dance, the Byrde&#39;s Dancers Scholarship Fund along with our annual fundraising luncheon is a dedicated effort that brings life-changing arts opportunities and enrichment to children of all backgrounds.&nbsp;Through our partnership with Big Buddy, OMC works with students weekly after school teaching dance. &nbsp;In January this culminates in a performance called LOVE REVOLUTION. &nbsp;This community outreach project involves children from all around our city and offers a unique opportunity for children to learn under professional dancers in a series of educational dance classes and perform alongside them in a live production. &nbsp;It&#39;s truly a magical experience that builds creativity, discipline, and self confidence while also incorporating the benefits of team building.&nbsp;&nbsp;Many of these children are only able to participate in this program through the assistance of scholarships. A handful of those students&nbsp;receive full scholarships; these are our Byrde&#39;s Scholars. The Byrde&#39;s Scholarships offer a complete experience that awards children with classes, costumes, dance shoes, photos and videos of the performance, as well as tickets for each family to attend Love Revolution. We have seen this endeavor to powerfully change lives of children year after year and hope that you will consider a generous donation of support!
