Why We Need Help:  

Administrative costs of a rescue add-up. As a nonprofit of volunteers, little things are needed - office supplies, printing of adoption packets for transport. Less glamorous costs are fees for website, annual tax filings. 

Day one with a Dog- what’s the history? Rescue transfer, shelter pull, found on streets. Each dog needs to be microchipped, a secure collar and tag for identification. Testing for heart-worm, assessing body for neglect, interacting to identify lack of socialization or abuse- a plan for compassionate care is formed.  Support by sponsoring the intake costs. 

Adoption prep- our dogs are in foster homes which offers time to decompress and reveal their personalities, while healing and socializing. Support a foster home with dog food!

⚕️Largest expense when rescuing animals is the cost of medical supplies, medicine and vet office visits. Vaccination, heart-worm treatment (if applicable) and sterilization is requirement before adoption placements.
