Because of the new law going into effect today, there will be much less time for these two appointments. This means that many more women will need overnight lodging in Tallahassee to be able to schedule both appointments before the six-week period expires.</div><div style="margin:0px;width:100%;box-sizing:inherit"> </div>We know that the burden of travel and lodging can be a prohibitive barrier to accessing an abortion The RBG Fund has been preparing for this. Now, in addition to gas cards for travel, the RBG fund is working with local hotels to make sure women in need have a place to stay — for free — when they come to Tallahassee for an abortion.
