Our 10x20 plot now boasts a keyhole mulch pathway, weather-proof plant labels, 17 native plant species, and even a natural log seating area for children to use in their observation of the natural world. We also have a pot of soft or fragrant non-native plants to explore sensorially. A thriving native pollinator garden takes years to grow, and so we welcome your patience, pocketbook, and participation as we begin year two of this project. Seeking, through donations or financial support: designated adult-sized gardening tools, child-sized gardening tools, and more native forbs & grasses. Seeking, through volunteerism: help to educate students about the growth cycles of native plants, teaching about texture/variety/color, helping the students to plant, water, and grow seedlings.
