Camas Washougal Parent Co-Op Preschool has been a mainstay in early childhood education in the Camas/Washougal community for almost 100 years. The current state of the economy and rental increases have impacted our ability to keep tuition prices at an affordable rate. It is extremely important to our community to keep early education affordable, accessible, and inclusive.The Co-Op philosophy has strengthened our local community and created a solid foundation for preschoolers, feeding in to over 10 elementary schools in our area. In an effort to continue to be an option for families of all communities, backgrounds and circumstances, we are (drumroll please&hellip;) buying a property! Our hope is to serve the community for decades to come with quality, AFFORDABLE, early education experiences for the entire family.&nbsp;Money from this site will help our nonprofit pay for standard operating costs while also taking on renovations (bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, demolition, lighting, electrical and plumbing), creating an accessible playground, building a fence, etc. We are so proud of the community we have built and are excited for this new adventure, while adding some life in to a growing and bustling downtown Washougal.
