It started with a whisper among brothers, in a land thousands of miles away. &quot;Never let me be forgotten.&quot;&nbsp; Some ten years later, a vision came to life from a Patriotic American after being moved from the 9/11 Memorial. &nbsp;Since that time, the GWOT Wall of Remembrance has visited small towns and helped heal for thousands of American Families. &nbsp;And now we mold the Gen III. &nbsp;That promise is hitting the open road. Help Us Carry Their Names Forward Some names are carved into stone. Some are etched into metal. And some are carried forever in the hearts of the families who loved them. The GWOT Wall of Remembrance exists so that the men and women we lost during the Global War on Terror are never reduced to a statistic, a date, or a chapter in a history book.&nbsp; They were sons and daughters. Husbands and wives. Mothers and fathers.&nbsp; Brothers, sisters, battle buddies, and friends. They had dreams. They had families waiting at home. And they answered when their country called. The Romans Warrior Foundation has made it our mission to carry their names, their stories, and their sacrifice to communities across America through the GWOT Wall of Remembrance. But carrying something this important takes more than determination. It takes the equipment to get it there. Our current transportation system has carried the Wall faithfully, mile after mile, event after event. But it is aging, worn, and no longer capable of supporting the future we envision for this memorial. We now need your help to build the next chapter. Our goal is to secure a dedicated heavy-duty truck and enclosed gooseneck trailer specifically designed to transport and protect the GWOT Wall of Remembrance for years to come. This isn&#39;t simply a truck. This isn&#39;t simply a trailer. It is the vehicle that carries thousands of names home. It is what allows a Gold Star mother to stand in front of her child&#39;s name. It is what gives a veteran the chance to trace the name of a brother or sister they once stood beside. It is what allows a child who was too young to remember their parent to see that America still remembers. And it is what allows a new generation &mdash; one that may have no memory of September 11, Iraq, Afghanistan, or the sacrifices that followed &mdash; to stand before this Wall and understand the price that was paid for the freedoms they inherited. Every mile this memorial travels is another opportunity to say: You are remembered. Your sacrifice mattered. Your name will not be forgotten. We are asking individuals, families, businesses, veteran organizations, corporations, and communities to help us place this memorial on the road with equipment worthy of the heroes it represents.
