💙 CASA Needs Our Community&rsquo;s Help 💙 Unfortunately, on August 17th, the recent heavy rains and water intrusion impacted the downstairs area of Harrison County CASA Family Center including portions of our Resource Closet and storage areas used to support children and families throughout the year. As our team has been reorganizing, relocating items, and actively pulling supplies to meet current needs, some materials were temporarily staged in areas that were affected when the water came in. Despite our efforts, we experienced the loss of a number of important items, including: &bull; Mattresses provided to children and families in need &bull; Children&rsquo;s supplies, and other Resource Closet items &bull; Items stored for our Christmas events &bull;&nbsp;Fundraising supplies and materials that help support CASA programs &bull; Other items used throughout the year to meet the needs of children we serve These are more than supplies on a shelf. They are beds for children who need a safe place to sleep, necessities for children entering foster care, and resources that allow CASA to continue serving our community. We are asking our friends, supporters, businesses, and community partners to help us restock and recover. 💙 DONATIONS ARE NEEDED! 💙 Our community has always stepped up for CASA and the children we serve, and we are incredibly grateful for your support as we recover from this unexpected damage.Help us refill the Resource Closet and rebuild what the rain took away.
