As our AAU basketball season begins in March of 2024, our fundraising efforts begins now. Our goal is to raise $60,000 dollars so that travel accommodations, lodging, tournament fees, gym rental for practice time as well as equipment and uniform expenses can be subsidized by various donations. This will enable our team to participate, compete and gain prominent exposure in the Amateur Athletic Union. Our coaches, volunteers, and members are committed to seeing that our children are trained in an environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership, and sportsmanship. The World S.M.A.S.H. Organization Inc empowers young athletes to have the physical, mental, and moral development required to be a student athlete and providing a successful start in education and sports regardless of age, race, gender, family composition, income, or community. Our team will travel and compete throughout the Northeast and Southeast. When opportunities present themselves, the team will play nationally to expand the level of exposure they receive from institutions of higher education and ideally an opportunity to explore the possibility of athletic scholarship offers. In addition to providing the highest quality of coaching and fundamental skill development, our ambition is aimed toward keeping the youth of today in the classroom and steering away from negative influences. Being a Donor is a relatively inexpensive to show your support in making a difference in the lives of these young athletes. Any fiscal contribution that you can make will go 100% towards the kids in our program. All donations made to World S.M.A.S.H. Organization Inc are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law. Our 501(c)(3) Tax id will be given to the proper authorities when needed. We value the importance of education on and off the court, service and appreciation for the community and our team philosophy will embody these elements of emphasis.
