One resilient community. Your help can make a difference. On September 30, a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck the central Philippines, with its epicenter northeast of Bogo City, Cebu Province. The quake sent people running into the streets, triggered widespread power outages, and damaged homes and historic landmarks—including the centuries-old stone church in Daanbantayan.Barely a month later, on November 5, Typhoon Kalmaegi unleashed torrential rain and destructive winds across the central provinces.
