Keep Children Learning and Nourished in Zimbabwe Education changes possibilities. Nutrition supports learning. Together, we can help vulnerable children remain in school.Every Child Deserves an Opportunity to Learn In the rural communities of Gokwe, Zimbabwe, poverty and food insecurity create serious obstacles for children and their families. For some households, the cost of school fees threatens a child's continued education. For others, inadequate access to nutritious food creates additional challenges to learning and development.Centre for Care (CFC) is a Zimbabwean nonprofit organization working to address these challenges through locally directed educational assistance, supplementary school feeding, and community support initiatives. Our mission is to help vulnerable children and underserved families overcome barriers that limit their opportunities for education, personal development, and long-term well-being. Our Immediate Priorities: 1. Keeping Vulnerable Children in SchoolCentre for Care assists children whose families struggle to meet educational costs. Priority is given to vulnerable learners, including children from low-income households, orphans, and children facing a heightened risk of leaving school because of financial hardship. Our objective for 2027 is to expand school-fee assistance from six children to 50, subject to securing the necessary funding.Your contribution could help cover eligible educational expenses and support continued school attendance. 2. Supporting Our Supplementary School Feeding ProgrammeEducation and nutrition are closely connected. Children who experience food insecurity may encounter additional difficulties with attendance, concentration, and participation in school. Centre for Care's supplementary school feeding programme aims to improve access to food for vulnerable learners through locally coordinated assistance. Donations could help purchase food supplies and meet approved costs associated with delivering supplementary meals. Why Your Contribution Matters Your donation supports practical interventions designed around the needs of vulnerable children and their communities.Contributions will help Centre for Care pursue three connected objectives:

Improve access to education by reducing financial barriers.

Support children's nutritional needs through supplementary school feeding.

Strengthen community-based assistance for vulnerable learners and families.

Our approach places particular importance on local leadership, responsible financial management, and documenting how charitable resources are used.
