That&#39;s roughly 5,500 students whose college enrollment is threatened each year because of housing instability. All students have a right to housing while they pursue a college degree. With help from supporters like you, we have housed 86 students since 2022!&nbsp; Will you help us reach the next 86 students? Our strategy is simple: With help from friends like you, we can ensure each student we support achieves their college degree and a future full of possibilities. 🎓 Here is what students are facing in North Carolina right now:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The average cost of monthly rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in the area is $1,689</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The average cost of on campus housing for undergraduate students at local colleges is $3,800 per semester for a double occupancy room and $4,275 for a single occupancy room</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The average financial aid provided to first year students is around $12,317 while the cost of attendance can be as high as $34,000!</li></ul>This means most college students are left to their own devices to be able to afford the cost of living. HOST provides a response to these realities by providing resources to ensure students can access the housing option that is best suited for their needs. But we can&#39;t do it alone - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
