Your gift to ChicoSol supports independent, investigative reporting in Northern California, and during NewsMatch 2026 your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar. You help our journalists dig into stories about social justice, environmental threats, and cultural diversity that rarely get sustained attention elsewhere. Your donation to ChicoSol will be matched by the Institute for Nonprofit News between November 1 and December 31. Your donation goes directly to ChicoSol, which this year became an independent nonprofit under the name Sol News.
