Help us make this Christmas one to remember! Displaced Roses is a community-based nonprofit organization that advocates for and helps people who are experiencing homelessness. Every year, we work hard to make Christmas special for children in families without homes. This year, we want to help 8 families&mdash;22 children and 10 adults&mdash;by providing gifts and support. While other groups often give toys for kids up to about age 10, we make sure that older kids, from preteens to teens, also get something special for Christmas. To make their holiday memorable,&nbsp;we aim to raise $150 for each child and $20 for each adult. For the kids, this amount helps buy at least one gift, &nbsp;one new outfit, a coat, a pair of shoes, and an outing. Oftentimes, these kids don&#39;t get to have new clothes, or even more heartbreaking, wearing oversized adult clothing because area clothing closets are receiving tween and teen fashion. So, we make sure they get a &quot;celebrity-style&quot; shopping experience, where a local retailer makes a special shopping hour just for these kids!
