The South County Waves(SCWC), is seeking sponsors for our 2026-26 season and tournament. SCWC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) youth sports organization that strives to educate the youth in our area - not only to be up and coming wrestlers, but to also instill determination, respect, open communication, resiliency, independence, and responsibility. Our club is growing, and in order to ensure a successful program for the youth of our community we rely on our local businesses to provide sponsorship and help underwrite the cost of the program. Wrestling is a sport of individual participation functioning within the framework of a team concept. This aspect contributes to the development of lifelong patterns of responsible behaviors including discipline, the ability to set goals and achieve them, and respect for others. A young person involved in wrestling can be expected to display increasing self confidence, as well as appreciation of their self worth. The South County wrestling club takes pride in being able to provide purpose, direction, motivation, and mentorship to our youth, who will then be able to find success in any endeavor in life on or off the mat. At this time the SCWC is in need of uniforms for up to possibly 50 kids, as well as equipment, rental fees, and a tournament that SCWC puts on this season at South Kingstown t high school in January. All of the collected funds will be directed towards uniforms, equipment, costs and fees to run the club as well as the tournament. Your donation will guarantee that this becomes a successful and enjoyable season.
