People sit cross-legged on cushions in a wooden-floored room, with a golden Buddha statue positioned against a decorative wall in the background.

Help keep our meditation hall warm in winter and cool in summer, so it stays calm and welcoming for everyone. Every week, people of all backgrounds gather in the meditation hall at the Buddha Meditation Center in Rockville, MD for free, donation-based meditation classes, retreats and Dhamma talks. We are raising $3,000 to upgrade the hall's heating and cooling system, so everyone who comes to practice can sit in comfort in every season. All of our programs are free and donation-based. Anyone can attend, and we rely on the generosity of our community to care for this shared space. Every gift, large or small, brings us closer to the goal. Giving is itself a practice. In Buddhist teaching, generosity (dāna) is the first of the perfections. Thank you for your kindness. The Buddha Meditation Center is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 45-3758832). Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
