Courage Cottages: A Little Heroes’ Home Away from Home Every family facing childhood cancer deserves a place to rest, find comfort, and stay close together during treatment. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, families often face more than the challenges of treatment. They may also need to travel far from home, navigate unfamiliar communities, and find a place to stay while their child receives lifesaving care. These added burdens can make an already difficult journey even harder. Courage Cottages exists to help ease that burden. We are building a home away from home for families whose children are receiving cancer treatment. Our vision is to provide a welcoming, comfortable place where families can rest, share meals, make memories, and focus on what matters most: being together. Your generosity will help Courage Cottages secure and prepare a house for families who need a place to stay during their child's treatment. Donations will help cover housing costs and the furnishings, household essentials, and supplies needed to make the space feel like home. Every contribution brings us one step closer to opening our doors. Whether you give financially, share our mission with others, or connect us with a potential community partner, you can help make a difference for families navigating childhood cancer. Together, we can turn a place to stay into a place of comfort, hope, and courage. Join us in creating a little heroes’ home away from home. With your help, no family has to feel alone in the journey. Because courage is showing up—and sometimes, showing up means making room for a family to breathe, rest, and be together.
