Towards a More Inclusive Circus World, Together. Help CSAW raise $30,000 and break down systemic barriers to create a more inclusive circus. Circus arts have long been underfunded in the U.S. Our society treats art and freedom of expression as a luxury. At CSAW, we believe it’s a right. We hope you do too. Performance in the circus world can build connections, tell stories, create social change, and envision new possibilities, allowing people from all over the world to connect through a shared physical language. Everyone deserves access to this, not just a privileged few. Since 2020, CSAW (Connecting Circus Students Around the World) has worked to change the system—amplifying underrepresented voices, breaking down barriers, and putting real resources in the hands of BIPOC circus artists. To date, we’ve awarded over $90,000 in direct support to 50+ BIPOC circus artists. But demand is growing, and these programs only exist because of people like yougive. Thank you to everyone who has made our work possible in the past, we are only able to continue doing our work with support from you! * All donations are tax-deductible--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Real Artists. Real Impact. Our 2025 Goal: Raise $30,000!Your donation isn’t just money — it's opportunity. It’s visibility. It’s changing who gets to tell stories, be seen, supported, and celebrated in the circus world. CSAW funds literally change lives. You can be a part of that change. Help fund the programs that drive impact:

Microgrants – $1,000 each month to a U.S. Circus Artists of Color to fund any circus related need

Cannonball Grant – $5,600 stipend & full production support for a performance at Black & Indigenous Circus Week as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival

Advocacy & Outreach – advocate & educate partner circus organizations, schools, & artists

Program Growth – bring back our $5,000 tuition grants and expand the impact of our programs--

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “I just want to uplift the importance of supporting artists of color especially those that are within performance art spaces that are sequestered to a dominant demographic…I'm thankful to be a part of the CSAW family specifically for circus entertainers of color that are pushing the needle and expanding what circus, and the definition of what circus is. Thank you thank you and I hope you all continue to support and learn more about CSAW!” - Jordiana Cambell, February 2025 CSAW Microgrant Awardee --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why CSAW? Why Now? We know times are hard. Resources are stretched, and traditional funding sources are drying up. That’s exactly why your direct support for our community matters. CSAW has been consistently providing direct support to BIPOC circus artists, advancing accessibility to international circus schools, and providing education and advocacy for a more inclusive circus world. At this time, we can’t rely on outside sources, we have to build the world, the circus we want—together, from within. Circus has always been strongest when we work together.Thank you for helping us keep this movement alive! In our ongoing social justice work, we know we will make mistakes and we always strive to keep doing better by our community and by our organization. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing info@csawcirucs.org. We'd love to hear from you. Learn More About CSAW
