Fresh on Deck is a program facilitated by Kitchen on the Street and sponsored by the Arizona Diamondbacks and UnitedHealthcare. Kitchen on the Street is a solutions-based 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been serving food-insecure children and families since 2007.   Fresh on Deck nutrition education classes allow students to participate in hands-on activities to learn about food, food systems, nutrition, physical activity and brain development.  It costs just $8.00 for a student to participate in a class and receive fruits and vegetables to take home!  Donations to Kitchen on the Street qualify for the Arizona dollar-for-dollar tax credit, allowing individuals to donate up to $421 and couples filing jointly to donate up to $841 an receive a dollar-for-dollar credit off AZ Tax filings in 2023.
