The Steel Chapter of the National Infantry Association is raising funds supporting the2-156 Infantry Battalion 2022 Dining Out. Within the past three years, the Soldiers ofthe 2-156 served overseas in Iraq, Syria, and Kuwait in support of Operation InherentResolve; participated in defending the United States/ Mexican border; responded toHurricane Laura; provided essential aid during the Covid Pandemic. The 2-156thInfantry will continue to be ready to be some of the first Soldiers conducting search andrescue or security operations after natural disasters and be prepared to deploy around theworld in support of contingency operations. All donated items and funds will stay withinthe battalion and benefit Soldiers across southern Louisiana.
