Each year, teachers, or students and families who apply on a teacher’s behalf, can apply for this fund, detailing what their classroom may be lacking and the wonderful experiences they have provided for their students without it. This program will teach students necessary life skills, tips, and tricks to establish healthy habits: budgeting and saving techniques, understanding credit and debt, how to change a tire, home maintenance and other courses. Studies show that children who study a musical instrument are more likely to excel in all of their studies, work better in teams, and have enhanced critical thinking.This Pillar will focus on making music education available to students of all ages outside of the classroom.
