A smiling man with glasses and a beard wearing a dark blazer and white shirt stands against a plain, light-colored wall.

Dan never stopped helping people take their next step. Now his name will help someone take theirs. Remembering DanDaniel Audley was a best friend, a beloved family member, an incredible coworker, a mentor, and an unforgettable member of the Phish Club community. He never met a stranger. He made people feel welcome, valued, and supported, and he was always willing to show up when someone needed him. Dan was one of the smartest engineers many of us have ever known. He was a hero to many through the countless cyber incidents he helped navigate and the people he helped protect. But he never cared about the recognition. He just wanted the job done and the people around him taken care of. He showed his love for people by showing up. When someone was struggling, he listened. When someone needed help, he helped, and he never asked for anything in return. Dan supported Phish Club from the very beginning and came to every single event. He shared his knowledge freely, helped people grow and succeed, and went outside his comfort zone time and time again to support this community. He impacted more lives than he probably ever realized. About the ScholarshipWe lost Daniel unexpectedly, and with his family’s blessing, we created the Daniel Audley Memorial Scholarship to carry that impact forward. Each year, the scholarship will help an active Phish Club member take their next step in cybersecurity, whether that’s a degree or a certification. We’ll be looking for someone who shows up, stays curious, and helps the people around them, the way Dan did for so many of us. Every dollar goes to the scholarship fund and is paid straight to the school or certification provider. Phish Net Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 93-4669826), and your gift is tax-deductible. His greatest legacy is the people he loved, the people he helped, and the people whose lives were better because he was in them. Thank you for helping that list keep growing.
