Dallastown Music Boosters has introduced an award in memory of Mr. David Diehl, the former orchestra director who passed away in November 2020. &nbsp;This honor is bestowed upon a deserving member of the music department who embodies dedication and excellence. &nbsp; Mr. Diehl dedicated over 30 years as the orchestra director at Dallastown High School until his retirement in September 2019. &nbsp;With an initial 22 members, he grew the orchestra to more than 100 members. &nbsp;David had a remarkable ability to identify talent and nurture growth in his students, mentoring many successful musicians and music educators. &nbsp;He was a gifted musician, an inspiring teacher, and a dearly missed personality. &nbsp;If you feel compelled, please consider contributing to this award to uphold the legacy of Mr. David Diehl for future seniors.
